Most Filipinos would associate the name "Baguio City" with the word "cold", because it actually is the coldest place in the Philippines. It is called "Summer Capital" because Filipinos usually go there for vacation during the summer months of March to May in the country.

Famous over-the-counter chicken meals in the Philippines

Chicken meals are already mainstream in the Philippines. In every restaurant that you’ll visit, you will see this meal. This is not pork, not beef, not frog or any other edible species. It’s chicken. There are a lot of chicken raisers in the Philippines. The country has a lot of farmers that raise chicken. Its purposes are for: cock fighting, parasite killing and food supply.

Filipinos are prepared and willing to work in offices, but each person has a unique preference as what, when, where, and how to work in which company. That means, a person may not be good in one job but excels in another.

In the Philippines, working hours in most government and private companies start at 8 AM and end at 5 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break from 12 noon to 1 PM. For those who do not know yet, the Philippines follows the GMT+8 time zone. Most of those offices are open from Monday to Friday.

McDonald's is one of the most popular fastfood restaurants which many Filipinos patronize. Its name is commonly shortened to "Mcdo" by Filipinos. Its strong competitor is Jollibee Foods Corporation, which is owned by a Chinese-born Filipino entrepreneur.
